Wine Highway Weekend

The Winegrowers Association of Georgia is holding our 7th Wine Highway Weekend Friday-Sunday March 23rd, 24th, & 25th, 2012. Each year this event has grown in popularity as more people have discovered the National and International Award Winning Fine Wines that are made right here in Georgia, from Georgia Grown Grapes.  

Tour de la Cave & Barrel Sampling

Saturday, February 11, 2012 - 12:00pm - 1:30pm

Join winemaker Joe Smith for a tour of Georgia's only wine cave followed by barrel sampling of future Yonah Mountain Vineyards vintages. The Tour de la Cave gives you the opportunity to visit Yonah Mountain Vineyards, a privately held 197 acre estate located near Cleveland. Afterward, you'll convene at the tasting room in Sautee-Nacoochee for a full tasting led by Joe and Tina.

Chocolate & Wine at Tiger Mountain Vineyards

Saturday, February 11, 2012 - 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Sat. Feb. 11, 2012: Chocolate and Wine, 1:00 to 4 p.m. Release of Tiger Mountain's '08 Norton which has aromas of deep berry and cherry, smoke, and - yes, chocolate! Cheeses, chocolate fondue and music by Greg Presmanes and the FOG (friends of Greg) - hits from the Great American Songbook, Valentine's love songs, toe tapping rock and roll from the 60s, 1 to 3 p.m. $15 per person.
*Limited '06 Norton Reserve bottles available, priority to wine club members. Reservations required ONLY for parties of eight or more!
