The family owned terrior on beautifully sloping Fiddlers Ridge allows a low-yield sustainable harvest of the complex Chambourcin and the rare and enigmatic Petit Manseng varietals. Minimal bottling is anticipated in the waning months of 2010.

Nottely River Valley Vineyards, LLC.  is a sustainable agriculture vineyard established in 2008.  The vineyard occupies 10 acres of a 93 acre farm that has been in my family since 1832.  The vineyard consist of high density plantings of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris,  Riesling, Zinfandel, and a small block of the French hybrids (Chardonnel, and Sevyl Blanc).  Viticulture practices include, high density plantings, leaf pruning, cluster thinning, and limited fruit production providing the winery with high quality fruit.  First harvest is scheduled for the fall of 2011 with the first release of “Old World Style” Hand-Crafted wines in the Spring of 2012.
