Frogtown Cellars

Frogtown Cellars: Nestled in the North Georgia Mountains between Dahlonega and Cleveland, in the Frogtown district of Lumpkin County, Frogtown Cellars is dedicated to growing high quality grapes for the production of premium wines. On these 30 acres of vineyard, we have planted 15 different varieties. The red varieties include: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Tannat, Touriga, and Norton. The white varieties include: Chardonnay, Viognier, Marsanne, Rousanne, Souvignon Blanc, Muscat, Vidal, and Seyval. Much care has gone into deciding exactly where to plant each variety in our vineyards. In total 19,000 grape vines capable of producing up to 180 tons a year of premium wine grapes are planted for use in the winery and sale to other wineries. Our state of the art, totally gravity flow, 3 levels underground winery was specifically designed to produce the unique wines made from Frogtown grapes.

We at Frogtown are overwhelmed and honored to have three of our wines medal at the prestigious 2005 San Francisco International Wine Competition: Silver Medal - 2002 Touché, Silver Medal - 2002 Propaganda , Bronze Medal - 2002 Tannat. The Tasting Room: opens from February to December on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 pm to 6 pm. You can enjoy lunch on Saturdays with a variety of Panini you can choose from our Menu. On Sundays you could experience our Winetaster's Brunch (Served multi-course brunch with wine pairings), reservations are required.
